Mattress manufacturer Eclipse International is expanding its hospitality division with dedicated websites that cater to individual buying groups.
The company said the websites link to and support national hotel buying groups, as well as company-owned major hoteliers.
For example, one website – BIAHospitality.com – links to a group of 6,500 member hotels that are currently buying mattresses and other sleep products from Eclipse International.
The website offers a straight-forward format that showcases the company’s offerings for its hospitality customers, as well as information regarding Eclipse’s extensive licensing network in the U.S. An order page allows hotel owners or purchase agents to place orders for mattresses or top-of-the-bed products in real-time.
“This move is smart business, and we’ll be pushing these hospitality orders out to our licensees for production and servicing,” said Stuart Carlitz, president and CEO of Eclipse. “Our hospitality segment is a high-volume business with a lot of required replacement orders, our new website streamlines that process for our hotel customers. It’s straight-forward and easy to use. We created this dedicated e-commerce platform because our hospitality partners have different needs than we experience on the home furnishings side of our business.”
